A beautiful encounter with dolphins in Cancun that allows the opportunity to meet them up-close, while admiring their graceful and natural movements under the waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Both children and adults have a lifetime experience swimming with dolphins in Cancun Mexico, with the Dolphin Swim Adventure. More than only a swim, this program is the entrance to the underwater world of dolphins through a series of safe and sensational activities.

The Dolphin Swim Adventure program takes place in Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and the Riviera Maya, very close to Cancun. The duration of this program is of 45 minutes, on daily schedules that start around 8-10:00 am, with a final evening program at 3:00 pm. Kids from 8 to 11 years old are welcome to enjoy this program, but an adult must be with them during the activity. Kids over 11 years old can do the Cancun Dolphin Swim Adventure on their own.

When arriving to the facilities, participants head to the dolphinarium where they will first take part of a brief orientation about dolphins, and put on a life-vest and try on snorkel equipment before getting into the water. The group (maximum 12 persons) then will continue to meet the dolphins as the Dolphin Swim Adventure program begins in Cancun turquoise ocean. A professional trainer will be in the water with the group at all times.

Some of the fun activities that the Cancun Dolphin Swim Adventure includes begin with a friendly handshake and an adorable kiss (perfect photo & video moment). After meeting these beautiful creatures, participants will experience the rush of speed with the famous belly ride, a fast ride across the water holding on to the dolphin’s fins.

If one chooses to swim with the dolphins in the Riviera Maya, (30 mins from Cancun) the program will include a fun “bogie-board-push” in which a dolphin pushes the participant’s feet while sliding across the water on top of a bogie board.

The Cancun Dolphin Swim Adventure also features free time with the dolphins, a special moment to pet them, snorkel next to them and hear them sing, as the playfully surround each participant and show off their fascinating talents and abilities in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, which can also be admired through underwater views with the snorkel equipment provided.

Other special activities to enjoy after participating in the dolphin swim programs include relaxing in snack bars, pools and solariums, as well as additional interaction programs with sharks, rays, sea lions and manatees (depending on location).
